The mission of Brilliant Metrics is, and has always been simple: Eliminate waste in marketing. When I founded the organization 18 months ago, we set out to do just that by helping clients measure, optimize and automate their marketing efforts. Along the way we learned what worked and what didn’t. We also saw our work focusing around a series of core beliefs or truths about how marketing works. The methods and beliefs were born out of years of digital and traditional marketing within marketing agencies and were really honed through application and iteration with Brilliant Metrics clients.
Somewhere early in the journey we realized that this methodology was valuable to more than just us. Today, I’m excited to announce that we have released the beginnings of our methodology in the hopes that it will start a movement to make the practice of marketing more accountable, focused and measurable, ultimately resulting in a significant reduction in wasted resources.
We call our methodology Iterative Marketing. It is comprised of six fundamental truths and six actionable components. Iterative Marketing is the philosophy and methods by which we serve our clients. We believe mapping it out for the world will give you and your organization an opportunity to apply the methodology to your benefit as a marketer and the benefit of your organization as whole.
